Hotel Skalholt Review. I highly recommend this place and would definitely book here again. The meals were outstanding, and the room was spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was great and provided everything we needed. The venue is centrally located near a church and conveniently close to the Golden Circle.

We appreciated sparkling clean bathroom!!
The breakfast was tasty, the food was fantastic! Location: the hotel was just next door to a nearby restaurant and the chapel itself and the bridge over the river Hvítá at Iða. It was also right at Skalholtskirkja.

It was a wonderful hotel in a calm area, close to a hill as well as beautiful nature. The location was amazing, for example, an official church was not very far from the venue.
The staff we met were unpleasant.
